Hearts of Iron 4 mod: Beginning to add the content

So from last week I set out to create the Labour government side of the tree basing most of the decisions off of the policies I could find from their 1935 manifesto. I wanted to have the benefits come from investments. Most of the focuses will give good long term benefits for a short term negative. For example the first focus available to the player will give them bonuses on construction speed but for a timed negative to consumer goods.

I also starting coding in the focuses in the game. This is the first time modding anything into a paradox game so I set out to learn the basics before I head down the tree and get overwhelmed. So I have set out to add a few of the components I would need down the tree, this includes; the focuses themselves, events for the player, national spirits/ideas and decisions. To allow the player the choice between using this focus tree and the vanilla one I added this event.

As I mentioned before i have started to add the ground work to the focus tree before I start heading down it any further. So far I have made the first part of the tree with the first focus having their effects.

Next I need to test out some decisions so I will be able to add some of my own further down the line. Before I move any further down the tree I need to add the localisation (English version) to these focuses and then I can crack on with the rest of the focus tree branches.
